This past weekend I was asked to do something a little different than my usual. I was invited to go take photos of some new horses at the barn and it was SO MUCH FUN! These new boys arrived the day before Valentine’s Day and they are total sweethearts! I may have froze my tooshie off that day, but the horsey love was soooo worth it! So happy these guys have found good homes with their new owners, and hopefully I get to go visit again soon.
Look at this sweet face!!! I got to spend some time with one of my favorite families taking pictures of Ollie just after Christmas. He is such a cutie and so snuggly! I mean.. look at those cheeks! It would have been easy to stay and play all day. I can’t wait to see how he grows and take his pictures again in June. Welcome to the world Ollie!
I love when I get to take photos for family! I spent some time just after Christmas with my aunt and uncle, and we had so much fun personalizing their session. My cousins took pictures with their trucks and 4-wheelers, we got some arm-wrestling photos, and some awesome updated family pictures in the fields around their house. Thanks for asking me to come over Aunt Wendy and Uncle Michael!
The Schmeltz’s are such good friends of mine and I absolutely love getting to be their photographer! I went to their home this past weekend to meet Olive and take her newborn photos and she is so perfect! She’s such a calm, sweet, happy baby and is so loved by everyone, especially big sister Rosemary. I could have stayed and held her all day! Welcome to the world sweet baby Olive!
These two little cuties brought their new puppy Birdie to come and play! I loved getting to see this sweet family again, and to watch the kids run and play with the puppies. Always a good time!
This year has definitely knocked us all off our feet, and we have had to learn to do things a bit differently in order to deal with all the plot twists 2020 keeps sending our way. Some of those that were hit hardest were our high school seniors. For them everything was cancelled. Gone.
A dear friend of mine decided to throw her senior daughter and her friends a Basement Prom, and I was lucky enough to get to come out and take their formals! Everyone looked stunning, the decorations were beautiful, and I guarantee some sweet memories were made that evening. I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!

You guys! My cousin had a baby boy and he is simply the sweetest! With all the crazy going on in the world right now it’s important to find the joy in life and soak it up. I can’t wait to see this beautiful family again soon.
These boys are super busy, and they sure do love snack time. But who doesn’t, am I right?!? Between the popcorn, and fruit loops we had a pretty fun & messy shoot! I can’t wait to see what you boys do with some cake at your 1 year shoot! Haha!
